Call of Duty 4 PC Patch Released 2/2/08

Well, that patch we’ve all been waiting for has been released today. Go get it.

Details, after the jump!

Here’s what’s being changed, according to Infinity Ward:

Fixed server browser not showing all of the servers

The “hold [ ] to steady” sniper scope hint will only appear if you can use it

Fixed game not recognizing IWDs existing if they are all in fs_basepath and none are in the main/ folder

Made mod scripts able to change stats

Allow developer_script for mulitiplayer modding

Fixed map rotation errors with usermaps

Fix for reloading several times after connecting to a modded server

Fixed minimap not showing up in the menu for usermaps

Fixed an issue with Http redirect downloads.

Mod tools will now work with other languages

Wow, they’re actually leaving the Martyrdom perk in the game…. That sucks. How bout a real patch that gets rid of that cheap kill bullsh!t. Now that would be a patch.

Ah well, one can dream… Now, where’s my 360 patch?

They need a 360 patch to remove all the map glitches, or at least a patch that removes the items on maps that allow people to access these glitches and get cheap kills. On a similar note, they need to add Hardcore modes to all game types such as Free-For-All and Domination. I’d love to play me some Hardcore domination with 16 players…

I would like it to stop making people Invisible, i will walk around a corner not knowing there is someone right there, I get shot, I never saw that person.

i have recently been trying to get more knife kills for the medal, which means martyrdom is reallly missing me off at the moment. I refuse to put it on any of my classes, last stand is more fun anyway

Martyrdom and Last Stand should be in a separate category of perks called, “For people who don’t know how to get kills for real, but still need points.”
