On Monday, Sarcastic Gamer will release it’s next full episode of the Sarcastic Gamer Podcast. If you’re new to the site, or just don’t usually listen to podcasts, here’s everything you need to know about our show, and how to get it.
- All episodes are around 30 minutes - We know your time is important and that you have a lot of choices when it comes to your gaming info, so we pack the whole thing into an easy half-hour.
- Engaging characters - While we focus on gaming, you’ll also get to know the members of the show and our regular guests. Find out these easiest way to piss Lono off with a message on XBL. Discover the true meaning and origin of the word “realer.” Who’s a gaming celeb-stalker? Those answers and a lot more await you when you subscribe!
- Sarcastic Gamer News - You might have already enjoyed one of our Fiction Friday articles here on the main site, but you haven’t lived until you’ve heard them brought to life by our veteran news anchor, Paul Christy. Here’s a quick sample!
- Reliable Delivery - While we guarantee a Monday release each week, we pride ourselves with exceeding those expectations, typically providing the newest episode on Sunday Evening. No matter what, you’ll know that the latest episode will be ready and waiting to join you on your Monday morning commute.
- Humpday Updates - Each Wednesday SG Podcast Subscribers will find a little nugget from the podcast team, waiting in their podcatcher. The “HUD” delivers a quick 10 minute recap of the hottest gaming stories with commentary and predictions for the rest of the week.
Ready to give us a whirl? Find out everything you need to know to get the show, after the jump.
Becoming a podcast subscriber is easy, and it beats downloading each episode manually any day. Being a subscriber gets you lots of extras too! Like easy access to mp3’s of all of our infamous parody songs, occasional first-peeks and more. With so many subscription options, there’s really no reason not to! Best of all, it’s free! Let’s go over some of the easier ways to subscribe. Each of these links (next page) should immediately subscribe you to the show.
- iTunes - As one of the most popular music platforms in existence, iTunes makes it easy to subscribe to your favorite content, including the Sarcastic Gamer Podcast. With one click, you can ensure that you are immediately notified of new episodes. You can set it up to automatically download new shows, and sync them with your iPod. (NOTE: You do not need an iPod to use iTunes or to subscribe in this manner. You can listen on your computer or burn the shows to CD’s) If you already have iTunes, just follow THIS LINK TO SUBSCRIBE NOW!
- Zune Marketplace - Zune owners finally have a robust equivalent to iTunes. Zune Marketplace offers a very easy podcast interface. With or without a Zune, you can use Zune Marketplace to make sure you stay up to date with the latest SG Podcasts. To get started JUST USE THIS LINK TO SUBSCRIBE in Zune Marketplace.
- RSS/Podcatcher/Browser - A podcast is really nothing more than a typical RSS feed with enclosures created that tell podcatchers (like iTunes) what to do. Since that’s the case, you can subscribe to our show using your favorite RSS reader or any podcatcher. Even the newer browsers like Firefox and Opera offer an easy interface to subscribe to podcasts and RSS feeds. To subscribe using your favorite RSS reader, first try THIS LINK. If that doesn’t offer you the option to add our show to your favorite program, then just open your program and add the following URL to your list of feeds.
- Email - Yup! You can even get notifications of new episodes emailed to you. To subscribe to the SG Podcast via email just complete the form below. It’s totally private, and you can unsubscribe INSTANTLY at any time. (Note: This option tends to be the slowest of all subscription options to update.)
If you’re new to podcasts, or have just never bothered to download the stuff that you need to subscribe, here are some easy links to some programs/websites that you can set up in minutes, to manage your subscriptions.

I know Ive not been hugely active in the forum community but I plan to start posting more.
Ive been listening to Sarcastic Gamer since the start of the new year and havnt missed a episode since.
The sound quality is perfect… unlike most podcasts there is often crackling. The sound effects are awesome and the introductione, endings and stuff in between are funny.
The presenters are funny as hell and crack me up especially Lono. Do I like get a point or something for mentioning Lono. Maybe I get two for saying Lono a second time. Make that three now… you see where Im getting at
Even though I live in Scotland and this is an American based podcast it dosn’t stop me listening.
I love the podcast and I hope you guys keep up the good work each episode just gets better and better
