Can you feel it, console lovers? Can you feel the cold hard sting of yet another successful game treating its PC users to bonus content?
Ubisoft’s latest announcement for Assassin’s Creed PC details four bonus investigatory missions, as well as adding ‘Directors Cut’ to the title. The company thought about changing the subtitle to “Screw Loyal Customers”, but the Frenchies surrendered to their board of directors.
But on the other hand of the situation, I feel somewhat cheated. Bonus missions mean more repetitive gameplay to get through, and I for one do not look forward to using my hidden blade 100 more times – unless it’s straight through my temple.
Whatever the case, there still is the need to rub it in the face of every Joe Shmo with analog sticks. We dont get to do it very often, but for now, commence pointing and laughing!

I don’t need the extra stuff–what’s on the game now is enough for me (although I haven’t finished it yet).

Well it dosnt really have an effect on me. A lot of games on Next Gen get their own bonus content. And its just a few more investigations nothing amazingly big its just pretty much the same so its ok.

So, apart from the the cost of the actual game, how much money are you gonna spend on upgrading your PC so the game’ll actually run?

Oh, I’m sure those missions will be available to 360 owners. For a nominal fee ,via xbox live. aka the biggest scam off the internet ever created.

Well if you just upgraded to play Crysis than youll have to upgrade AGAIN. HA I SPIT ON YOUR STUPID PC. jk i actually would be a PC gamer if i could afford it.

director’s cut just meant that they added:
1. A 4th line for the peasants after saving them.
2. More “I lost my flags, please find them in so many minutes sub-missions.”
3. One more pointless, “final level”, multiple enemy, pseudo boss battle. (This time it’s a gang of monks because you used them to kill people.)
4. 300 more flags to find that do nothing more than give you 15 points to your gamerscore.
Enjoy PC, you got the better deal, trust me.

what ya mean upgrade again , what PC gamer would be silly enough to upgrade your PC to just meet crysis rec specs , if you upgrade you go all out and make yourself a computer that will part the red sea , mine does …. and it walks on water too

PC version has bonus content for people like you, because otherwise, you will be whining about pointless buing of some console leftovers..

So my PC met yours somewhere over the seas. Cause A’sC ran very smooth in it! And yes, you’re right. We PC gamers try to always take a jump ahead the next game requirements, not the current one. Admit it console gamers. When you have to throw your console to trash, we just have to plug new things here and there and we’re up to date again! xD
