Love is a wonderful thing. Inexplicable at times, (Mrs. PMPB loves me, go figure.) but still wonderful. Love is a confusing creature.
Today, word came down from the Free Press that a Houston, Texas woman by the name of Sandra Waboom and her husband Dick Waboom were getting a divorce. “Why is this news?” you may ask yourself. It’s not the fact that a beautiful marriage of 7 years is ending; rather it is the cause of the separation, Master Chief. Or rather should I say Master Chief’s head.

Here’s what Mrs. Waboom had to say:
“My husband works on the road, he’s in sales, and leaves me home alone for months on end. When he is home he spends the majority of his time playing on his Xbox 320 or whatever it’s called. Last time he was home he purchased a game that came with this severed head that he put on our mantle. At first I found it more than a little disturbing but as the months went by, with Dick nowhere in sight, I began to feel comforted by the consistent presence of Todd (that’s what she calls Master Chief’s head). One fateful day Dick came home and told me he was selling Todd so he could buy a new game. I was unexpectedly forced to choose between my love of Dick and my love for Todd (the head).
I chose Todd.”
While the divorce is still in its infant stages, the soon to be ex-Mrs. Waboom has publicly announced plans to wed Todd as soon as possible. As for Mr. Waboom; he had only the following to say:
“She left me for a stupid game cover that looks like Master Chief. She calls the damned thing Todd. She’s effing crazy! I just want to keep my xbox. She can have the head.”
Our heart goes out to to both Sandra and Dick and we wish Sandra and Todd the very best. See you on Jerry Springer real soon, Sandra.
