Our friends at the HardcoreChristianGamer.com have set up a new website, dedicated to helping our troop abroad. It’s called Trade-Ins For Troops and basically, you send in a game to them and they send it to the troops.

Pretty simple, right? What the heck are you waiting for. Click here to get all the info.

Id be interested but Im going to wait till the site is more updated and gives more explanation. Its a great cause.

I hope they get some pictures up soon with the troops and the smiles on their faces recieving their games.

Even though Im in Scotland Im happy to Air Mail a game over. But Ill give it a wee while till I see the site advance and improve. Hopefully this works out cause this is a great and thoughtfull idea. As Lono said this is for a great cause

do the military allow the troops to have games consoles? I cant see a general going “Okay, now, bravo company, you have got the wii’s this week. Yeah, I know they suck but you had the 360’s last week and next week, you get the ps3’s”

I agree, good cause, but i wont send my game so that some major can confiscate it.

Matt you’re correct they probally wouldnt get to play video games in the HQ bases.

But they arnt at war 365 days a year. They do come home….. eventualy

Yes the troops get to play games. Actually they get one day off a week and usually they spend that emailing home, playing games or sleeping. Most of their shifts involve a lot of waiting for something to happen so during that time they bring their PSP’s and such just to kill time. Trust me, everything donated will definitely be used.

Lolz wow I had no idea there was a christian gaming site, cool! but yeah I think what they’re doing is awesome, I hope people send them good games like COD4 and Orange Box and other sweet games like that instead of some cheap bargain bend type games…
