Early this morning, my dear friend Victoria Enmon passed away at Texas Children’s Hospital, surrounded by her family. I want to thank each and every one of you that reached out to Victoria over the past 2 years. While I am still in shock, I take comofort in knowing that I belong to a generous community of people like you, who gave a little girl you’d never met, such a wonderful Christmas present. We will be dedicating this week’s shows to Tori, and I will be attending her funeral service and visitation in Orange, TX on Wednesday and Thursday on behalf of all of you. Again, thank you for your selflessness and your compassion for my dear, sweet friend.

I had the privilege of creating Tori’s “montage” for the Radiothon that I produce each year on behalf of Texas Children’s Cancer Center. Click here to hear that montage as heard on KKBQ (93Q) here in Houston. The song was as fitting for Tori during her fight, as it is now.

We wish we knew your little girl the way you did, because from what I was told by Doc and what I heard of her from the telethon, she seemed like a courageous, intelligent, caring, generous, warm hearted person. She will be dearly missed.

    I’m sure I speak on behalf of the readers of this site when I say that Victoria and her family will be in all of our prayers.

    That is very sad news. Thank you Doc and Sarcastic Gamer for bringing her to our attention in the first place. She seemed extremely vibrant and full of life despite her illness. We should all take a lesson from this young girl.

    This my friends, is a truly tragic event. Today, we lost not only a young girl who needed help in her time of need, we lost one of our own, we lost a gamer. I, as im sure many of you were, was absolutely shocked when i logged on to the gamercast network forums only to see a new thread informing us all of this terrible happening.
    The story of Victoria had originally been a joy to read, the community reaching out to her, and then she gave everything given to her to other children who needed it. Hearing this is a true blow to not only myself, but many others. It strikes a chord deep within me that makes me realize, we dont win them all.
    Victoria, may you rest in peace, and i believe i speak not oly for the sarcastic gamer community, not only the gamercast network community, but all gamers when i say that you will be sorely missed.
    Rest well, and get a few frags for me.

    Though I’ve never heard of you or had the priveledge of meeting you, but I hope you are at peace now my friend. My compassion and sympathy goes out to all who have shared the pain of such a loss and those who fight the same battle as Tori did.

    We can only mourne the tragic loss at such an early age and hope that those who have passed away are still looking down upon us from somewhere.

    I am deeply saddened to hear that Victoria passed yesterday. I have to be honest with everyone, the tears started falling this morning when I first read the news from Doc. My heart and prayers go out to all of Tori’s family and friends, and anyone who had their lives blessed by this sweet girl. Tori faced a battle over the course of the last four years that 99.999999999999% of the world couldn’t have faced, and she did it with a smile. Take the time to register over at Care Pages and look at the picture gallery, there isn’t a single picture in there where Tori isn’t lighting it up with a huge smile. Regardless of the amount of pain and sorrow she was filling at any time, she kept a smile on that lit up the world.

    I’m very new to sarcastic gamer so this was the first I had heard about Tori. But I just have to say that hearing about what she endured and listening to the strength, optimism and courage in her voice has already made her one of my heroes.

    She was clearly an amazing person and my heart goes out to her family and friends.

    I miss her so uch but she is better in heaven with all the others. I was very close with Tori and I saw the Pic. of you and her at TCH with the games and that was so nice of you. She is missed very much here on Earth but she will always be with us.
