Poem of Teenage Nerdy Puppy Love

poet-pic.jpgFour years ago, I was a young geek who finally found a girl. She didn’t mind my ultimate flaw of spending every near waking moment in front of the computer, as long as that habit stopped immediately. The “relationship” lasted about three weeks (wonder why), but it didn’t stop me from scribing this touching masterpiece:

I loved to be alone with you
Everyday and every night.
I loved to be alone with you
My great big box of light.

I loved to be alone with you
My fingers tapping at the keys.
I loved to be alone with you
I controlled you as I pleased.

I loved to be alone with you
It seemed like an addiction.
I loved to be alone with you
It all seemed like fiction.

I loved to be alone with you
Until she kissed me in the moon.
I loved to be alone with you
But it happened all so soon.

I loved to be alone with you
But now I love her more.
I loved to be alone with you
I’ll leave you at the door.

Sorry Mrs. PMPB, but it just proves that women are the leading cause of video game deprivation.
