* Editor’s note: I F&cked up. The DLC comes out on Tuesday. Thanks Digitalistic for showing me the light. Sorry. Continue on.
Because I’m now a certified Rock Band fiend and I know you are too, I’ll try and divulge the weekly Rock Band DLC for all of you Xbox 360 peeps.
Check it every Monday for the latest in Rock Band DLC!
Get your rock on, after the jump!
This week looks like a pretty good week. Tuesday will bring us a second cover of a Sweet song called “Action.” Honestly, I’ve never heard of the song before. Why can’t you preview songs before you buy them on XBL???
Anyway, the second track is another cover, but a cover of a song that I’ve heard of. It’s a cover of the Monkee’s “Last Train to Clarksville.” Not one of the best bands ever, but there’s no denying the catchiness of the song… I’m humming it in my head as I type… Still don’t know if that’s good or bad.
The last song for this week is a great one. It’s the master recording of Blink 182’s biggest hit “All The Small Things.” I can’t wait to play this one.
I don’t have any information on pricing, but most tracks have been selling for 160 MS points, or less, so get your conversion chart out and get spending.
See ya online.

I have never even heard of Sweet, but I’m going to Love the other 2 songs there.
I hope they release more Monkee’s songs on RB

The DLC has always hit on Tuesday. They’re changing that now?
Methinks you may have the wrong day.

Im never going to buy this game, the cost for the amount of pleasure ratio is not that great.
Ok i get to buy at like $2 songs and push buttons with it on a plastic music items.. that cost like $100+ It did not do much for me and even less after seeing the price of this stuff.
I will stick with samba de amigo and my NES keyboard game that only cost me $60.

@ Cube, you are a lonely, lonely man. This is the best game ever. Doc and Dave used to say the same thing…. now they’re hooked.

Best game ever? BTW, proper internet etiquette demands that you say “Best game EVAR!” but do you really think “ever”?
I have to say, Rock Band has got one of the jankiest interfaces I’ve seen in a LONG time. If you ever create a band with four local people and want to say swap out positions, it doesn’t support that… at ALL. You have to just get up and play as someone else or create a myriad of alternate “rockers”. The gameplay itself is fun (although honestly, I find hammer-ons and pull-offs to be easier in GH II/III) but I could make a list of needed improvements (hey, I’d like to see some detailed stats Harmonix!)
I’m guessing you’re still in the “I’ve got to justify this purchase, OMG this game f’ing ROCKS!!!” denial/euphoria stage.
Still waiting on full album DLC, still waiting on bands _I_ like… Iron Maiden, my favorite band of ALL TIME… DLC last weak, Number of the Beast… AWESOME! Oh, wait… it’s a _cover_… what’s that? GH III has the same song? Oh, it’s a master track in GH III? Damn!
It’s a great game. It’s not the best game ever. And if they somehow f@@k up RB2 by adding some new instrument or somehow making any of these instruments not compatible, I’ll make it my personal mission to stalk the developers down one by one and perma-hurt them.

@ lono:
umm remember ocarina of time?
or even better, ocarina of time master quest?
it’s the best game ever if you are a casual gamer.
I don’t have it, i want it and an elite 360 (yea, no 360 here) and it looks REALLY FUN but it could be better like… having a guitar that doesn’t break and having a bass guitar, or a second guitar, but it’s already really expensive.
Oot FTW!

I will boycott Rockband into they feature more euro-metal, there are so mnay great bands from Sweden etc.

I played it for about 8 hours somebody brought it over for a party. did nothing for me nor guitar hero at least for the cost of it. for about $100 and $2 songs I would buy other game related items.
