I almost did a double take when I heard about this one. There might actually be a useful accessory coming out for the Ninendo Wii! In fact, it may be the only “must have” accessory ever made for the Wii.
Take a look, after the jump!
Over the past year, there’s been no shortage of completely useless Wii accessories. Most ridiculously, the Wii-mote attachments. Everything I’ve seen for it so far has been nothing but blatant wastes of money. Cheap tricks to fool clueless shoppers.
Until Now.
Nyko unveiled a Cord Free Wireless Adapter. Welcome to the 21st Century, Nintendo.
With this $19.99 accessory, you get the limitless freedom of a wireless wiimote and nun-chuck combo without having to purchase any new accessories. This also will add a bit of weight to the nun-chuck which I personally would prefer.
It may not be the most appealing looking add-on, but (hopefully) it should get the job done for those (like me) who are annoyed by the stupid wire.
Now, if Nyko could make an accessory that made the Wii worth buying, we’d be all set.

If I still played Wii Sports, I might be interested in this since I managed to whip myself in the face with the cord from Wii Boxing.

Yet another accessory I won’t purchase. I don’t see what the big deal is. I mean, the cord between the wiimote and the nun-chuck is not a hindrance to movement.

Hey! $80 for a completely “wireless” controller setup! Not bad! <– sarcasm

I’ll get this, the cable flips all over the place in the ‘alternate your arms up and down’ games in Sonic and Mario and Rayman Ravin’ Rabbids.
