Geoff Keighley Pwns Fox News With +1 Truth Power

Don’t even get me started on Cooper Lawrence. Nothing like going on national TV and spouting off a bunch of random statistics and looking like a complete buffoon. I just read a recent study from Harvard that says Cooper Lawrence is the crack addicted love child of Bob Hope and Oprah Winfrey. Is it true? Who knows, but I just wrote it, so it must be!!! Then she has the gall to say that the game “objectifies women” and in the same breath calls Keighley Darlin. Good lord. Every time she spoke, I felt my I.Q. dropping.

Major props to Keighley who basically calls Cooper a bold faced liar and attempts to set the record straight before the Stepford Wife, Anchor lady cut him off. Well done Keighley, my respect for you has grown.

As for the rest of them, just like Captain Kirk once said: Double Dumbass on you sir. Double Dumbass on you…

Double Dumbass indeed.

    I feel dirty having even watched a CLIP from Fox News….gee thanks Lono. I feel even dirtier having to admit a new respect for Keighley trying to stand up to the Fox News authoritarians. Just remember kids…if you get Al Gore to run and he wins…we also get Tipper! AHHHHH!!!

    I like how in the statment from Microsoft at the beginning of the statments clearly states that they their console has parental controls; then at the end of the segment one of the ‘guests’ spouts off about “playing dad’s video game when he’s not home.” They just up and assume that this fictional dad is an idiot and wouldn’t set up his console so that his fictional son couldn’t play games he shouldn’t. I love the ignorance of FOX and the crazy people they get on the show.

    Yeah, the talking heads on the Fox panel are hilarious, because they just completely disregarded every shred of fact that they just heard, a minute earlier and rant and say stupid things like, “I don’t know how to protect my kids from games like this on the internet.”

    WTF… on the internet? How fraking stupid are these people.

    Kind of ironic that they get up in arms about one of the few games to actually have meaningful character interactions and storylines.

    Calling Mass Effect porn is just plain incorrect, the scenes were done tastefully and were more than eyecandy, they were the culmination of a meaningful relationship built between the Player and the character.

    And lock away all those rated R and raucnhy teen PG-13 and stuff clearly being watched by Teens already like american pie! they are much worse. I would let my kid play mass effect before he watches one of those.

    In australia, Mass effect is MA 15, which means you have to be over 15 to buy the game (although EB are the only ones who check). I am 17 so I could get it no worries. When I played through the first time, I missed all the scenes, but I did see them on youtube. Personally blue aliens dont do it for me, and I really dont think I am scared for life by it. I like the comment at the end, Parents need to take control over what there kids are exposed to. But not to the religious big brother standard that seems to be encouraged. Because I mean lets face it, by the time most kids are 14 these days they already have seen worse.

    wow, and i thought fox news was stupid before i watched this,. it’s sad how they get the least knowlegable prsn about gaming, make a whole bunch of coments, and left themselves just as clueless as before. and those people, the pong lady, and the chuck norris crack one . how do idiots as stupid as them make it on tv. and the best/worst part of it (depends on how u look @ it) Geoff totally pwnd them

    How is it possible for someone to be such a douche bag to go after the media with the least amount of “full-frontal” nudity and has parental control that actually works? Someone mentioned the crap teenage movies that offer much more sexual content than any game… you nailed it! Same is true for violence as well. The clueless US film industry has run out of inspiration years ago so they make up for it by throwing in either nudity or violence scenes (which also happen to suck) No body seems to care about it though. Let’s blame it all to them video games! This is insane!!

    just for the record lffo i CARE. about nudity and violence in movies. considering there hasnt been a movie ive enjoyed in years that didnt have some form of either. these guys are real gems. just wait till jack thompson makes a run for the white house. cant be any worse than hillary

    OMG I hate news because they think that kids can just walk in and buy these things. The ratings are on the front of the box and you have to be 17 to buy it.
