Looking at the some of the upcoming game releases of 2008, there are a lot of great titles coming out on all of the consoles, hand helds, and the PC. There are so many that we at Sarcastic Gamer don’t want you to miss any of the virtual goodness.
Now, we can’t review them all. We don’t have the time, or money. Until we get on some mailing lists, we are just going to have to make fun of them. It’s much cheaper.
Your gaming releases for the week of January 15, 2008 after the jump.
1/15 Barnyard Blast: Swine of the Night (DS) - Pack some heat and defend the farm. Pigs with guns are always fun, or is it scary… I always forget.
1/15 Corvette Evolution GT(DS) - But I want to drive the camaro! On the other hand, sweet, pixelated Corvette’s!
1/15 CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: Hard Evidence(Wii) - It’s time to solve some crimes with cheesy dialogue, low light, and The Who playing in the back ground. This time you’ll use Hard Evidence. Apparently, the soft stuff just wasn’t working out.
1/15 FlatOut: Head On(PSP) - Have you ever been sitting on a plane and said to yourself, “Damn I feel like racing.” Now instead of pushing the 8 year old in front of you into the drink cart just so you can get to the bathroom first, you can race on your PSP.
1/15 FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage (PC) - Destroy the world around you while you race. Too bad you can’t get out of the car and steal a new one, then you’d be playing Driver.
1/15 Furu Furu Park(Wii) - Live out the things people do in real life like: skateboarding and making sushi with your Wiimote. See! Just like real life!
1/15 The History Channel: Lost Worlds (PC) - Why is the history channel making games?
1/15 Miami Nights: Singles in the City(DS) - Scared of real life? Live a fake one with this hot title. Nothing like suffering the consequences of your actions and being forced to reverting to a saved game. Oh the punishment!
1/15 Nitrobike(Wii) - Nothing like straddling a jet engine with handle bars. Yeehaw!
1/15 Samurai Warriors Katana(Wii) - It’s like Red Steel, but without the guns and still crappy.
1/15 The Sims Carnival — BumperBlast(PC) - “There are two things I am afraid of and one is nuclear war. (And the other?) Carnies. Circus folk. Nomads, you know. Smell like cabbage. Small hands.” — Austin Powers. Nuff said.
1/15 The Sims Carnival — SnapCity (PC) - Oh, how the mighty have fallen. Please do not buy this. Pretty please.
1/16 Battlefield 2142 (Deluxe Edition)(PC) - In-case you didn’t buy one of the other versions that came out, you can pick up the new and improved deluxe, super terriffic edition. Good luck finding anyone online to play with.
1/16 Rail Simulator(PC) - I hope this is a train sim, otherwise this is gonna get awkward really quick…
That’s it for this week’s Gamer 411. I’ll be bringing you all the latest and greatest every Monday from now on. Except for school holidays. And federal holidays… And religious holidays… and, well just check back here every Monday.
Enjoy your week and GAME ON!

Dave although a huge question IS “Why is the history channel making games?”
another big question is… “why is CSI making a game?”
Wow, they must have seen that 2007 was a great year for games and decided to get some money for themselves… greedy bastards
