Believe it or not, my mother sent this to me, since she is a reader of SG, and lives in San Francisco. Thanks Mom! How your love of gaming can earn you a cool $50 after the jump!Warning, things on Craiglist can often be shifty, however this seems pretty legit. From what I can tell, there doesn’t seem to be any reason to doubt it. That being said, if you’re a gamer between a 18 and 34 and don’t live to far from San Fran, the nice people at Barry Research want to give you $50. According to the post:
Game Testing Study in SF: We are inviting males between the ages of 18 and 34 to discuss video games and possibly testing a game. Groups are taking place Tuesday, February 5th in the early evening in San Francisco. We are offering $50 for your time and opinions. No attempt will be made to sell any products or services to you as a result of your participation.
Anyone who lives in this area, let us know if you’re able to give it a try! My Mom is too tired from her late night COD 4 sessions.

Ok let me work this out…THATS ONLY A TWELVE HOUR FLIGHT plus retarded airport security that’s will be about 24 hours of traveling. I’m going.

I sneeze $50 at my job. I’d rather stay home and play games I’m sure to like rather than going through airport secuirty.

I actually did this in Minneapolis last year. It was a different company, but it was legit. I sat around for 3 hours, played some video games, gave my opinions and they handed me 50 bucks. Score.

I assume is a focus group recruitment and there will be a very limited number of seats, to be sure. It’s strange they are recruiting through craig’s list though….. weird.
