Today at CES, Alienware was proudly boasting its new 42.4” DLP gaming monitor that can support resolutions of up to 2880 x 900. While I don’t know of many games that natively support this monster resolution, I do know that I will never be able to afford it. Unless an announcement comes at CES tomorrow detailing that we can now pirate hardware.
Look for this on store shelves in the second half of 2008. It’ll be the one bullying all the other weaker, microscopic monitors.
Finally, a device that can display a life-size model of my entire schlong.
