4. Taylor your perks and weapons to the gametype – Playing Headquarters? You’ll need Extreme Conditioning, or Last Stand. Search and Destroy? Try UAV Jammer, Bomb Squad and either Last Stand, or Extreme Conditioning. Playing Domination? Last Stand is a must. I’ve captured way too many flags, while on my back.
5. Tired of getting killed constantly? – Stop sucking. Short of that, you have a couple of options. Either die and get back into the game or take that mother out before you re-spawn.
I realize that most people like martyrdom for this purpose, but ya know what?

Use Last Stand. Most pistols will take a guy down with two or three shots. Once you’ve been hit, you’ll know exactly where your attacker is and half the time, your attacker will think you’re dead. That element of surprise can rack up between five and ten kills in a single match. It takes some practice, but you can become a two-stage killer and rack up big points in no time with the Last Stand perk.
6. Get the red dot scope for your M16 - I realize that I told beginners to avoid this weapon, but now that you’re an intermediate player, little Timmy, get this gun leveled up, ASAP! It is, without a doubt, one of the single best, all-around, weapons in the game. Coupled with Stopping Power, every three shot burst is a finisher. This weapon will train you to be accurate, disciplined, and versatile. It can be used for any game-type. Doc loves his so much, he named his Rosie.

the M16 with Stopping power, Deep Impact, and Red Dot is the way to go. You can shoot long range and short. It’s a great all around weapon. Doc I feel for you on the M16 buddy. I named mine Cindy. She is as deadly as she is a sight to behold.

I’ve only had CoD 4 for about a week, but is there a reason you’d use the red dot over ACOG?
Personally I’ve been using the M16 with ACOG, stopping power and steady aim (highly reccomended if you haven’t tried it.)

The ACOG “bobs” a little, robbing you of some accuracy. If you get all three Stopping Power-enhanced rounds into a guy, he’s dead. If one misses, he’s really pissed.
But it’s all prefference. If you think you rock it out with the ACOG, then by all means dude, use the ACOG.
Sometimes I love ACOG, sometimes I hate it, but the Red Dot clashes with my preferred Blue Tiger Camo on Diana aka Wonder Woman aka my M16. Don’t zoom in if you can see the bulge in your opponent’s pants. Just point and click and three shots of deadliness will cure him of living. Use Stopping Power and Deep Impact and you can tally multiple kills when enemy noobs line up single file in a doorway.

i think the p90 is a great gun
just use a silencer on it!
its pretty easy with red dot sight but the iron sights do fine with a silencer..
i also use overkill so for long range shots i use a sniper (preferably dragunov)

The M16 is sh*t, it is boring, everyone uses it and its not even that good, the GC6c is far more accurate, automatic and kills enemies quicker.
The m16 is a good gun only if you are the type of that likes firing in bursts because nothing sucks more when one of three rounds misses and the guy you were shooting at finishes you off and i do agree bog is only fun when i use my noob tube
The M16 improves your accuracy and increases your patience. It is very a useful weapon but it is not good at close range, your pistol is better at close range then the M16.
Oh yeah, the best game section you could play is Team Tactical. It’s the fastest way of ranking up, I have no clue why, but it works.

Playin on a 360 but no preference between PS3 and Live (although PS3 seems to have a lot less bitching about n00b tube etc.)

i just got Call of Duty 4. i also just got my PS3 and online PS3. i found that m16 sucks for me. i love the control of your gun, weather it’s a full magazine or just a few bursts i think it’s a lot more handy in a tight situation. also AK47 rules. free for all i own. and im new i rank quickly using the ak47 i have red tiger aswell. i am on rank 48 and i can’t wait for the barret. i have red tiger on my m4 i dont use the m4 much, i did after i finished off the AK47 but i have switched back. AK47 with silencer, bandoiler, stopping power and martydom or last stand with a deagle, im almost undeatable. i avverage around 15 kills a game, i mainly play free for all and team deathmatch. i would love if somoene tryed to add me, my name is ss3nick no space and no captials. i aslo find with a new gun i own so i aim to get new guns or go back to old ones alot. and no guns are bad in the game, what your comfortable with is what you use.

I play mainly free for all and recommend the OVER KILL perk, you can carry a sniper as your main weapon and have an assault rifle, with the added bonus of getting the gillie suit on certain levels (although I prefer an assault rifle and light LMG with red dot sights myself) , deep impact and claymores as the other perks I use with reasonable success I also recommend crouching when going up stairs to take out enemies in upper levels, I am not sure if it makes a difference but your gear just makes less noise and less likely to give you away to campers (they are way worse than nOObs).
Revenge seems to be a big part of the game, I can’t count the number of times I have been killed by players then went barging back in (you seem to re spawn near where you were killed for this very purpose) to get them and then got killed again (after seeing the kill cam) don’t do it let it go, you will get them later in the game sometime. p.s. Bog is not so bad and go easy on the nOObs we have all been there.
The only good piece of advice in the entire first 2 guides was to grip the RPD. Otherwise this is a n00b manual. and bog is a great map.
are you retarted have you ever played call of duty 4 what fucking pistol are you using that will take someone down in 2 or 3 shots!? the desert eagle wont even do that most of the time with stopping power
