This Top 100 Countdown is all about the most memorable moments of 2007, from the Sarcastic Gamer perspective. Thus, there are some very Sarcastic Gamer centric moments, including number 4, the Birth of Sarcastic Gamer.

On June 11th, on a far away service called Blogger, I made the very first post on the Sarcastic Gamer Blog. For those that call us Sony haters, perhaps you should go read that article. Hmmm who was it defending?
Anyhow, in the past 6 months or so, Sarcastic Gamer has become something of a Beautiful Katamari. Rolling along, picking up new friends and talented staff along the way. Why we certainly aren’t big enough to be seen from Outer Space, the site has become home to a really creative community of gamers. With the podcast making its way up the rankings, things around here couldn’t be going better.
Thank YOU for making Sarcastic Gamer’s childhood such an exciting and educational time. As we move into our teenage years, we’ll likely rebel against you, withdraw, and crash your car. So when you feel like wringing our necks, try to picture us as that cute little site you used to love.
Sarcastic Gamer’s birth and childhood, is number 4 in the Top 100 Gaming Moments of 2007.

Okay, I’m ashamed to say this, but if I were forced to bet way back when Doc was talking about doing this, I figured it’d be a quick distraction that would probably fizzle out. But I figured he was a nice enough guy and we had a good rapport on the forums, so I helped him with anything he needed help with… here we are (only?!?!) six months later and look at how things have taken off!
I still think sarcasm is a fad… videogames too, but whatever… I really just wanted someone I could call on the phone and say “What’s up Doc?” and if it takes contributing to this site, well, that’s a small price to pay.
