blu-ray.jpgIt’s a new week, with new possibilities. There’s a bunch of HD releases for you to enjoy… or ignore. Blu-Ray was really weak last week, but they’re looking better this week. Blu-Ray fans keep you fingers crossed. Here are your releases for December 2, 2007.

  • Pirates Of the Caribbean: At World’s End – Finally, you can pause this long one for a pee break.

  • Super Bad – McLovin – Sounds like a sexy hamburger. Not sure why you would want to see this in HD.

  • Elton 60: Live At Madison Square Garden – It’s John’s 60th birthday and it made him feel like singing. Who purposely works on their birthday?

  • Queen: Rock Montreal & Live Aid – Freddie Mercury is back from the dead and rocking out in HD.

  • Mr. & Ms. Smith – Oh honey you’re an assassin? Me too! Gun fights, fist fights, sex fights(?)… this movie makes marriage look fun!

  • Cast Away – Tom Hanks gets stranded on an island, goes crazy, talks to a volleyball, and escapes and his wife moves on. Save your money I just told you the whole story.

  • 20 million Miles To Earth – Rome is f***ed in this classic scifi monster movie. They’ve colorized it to help those of you that are afraid to watch black and white films.  This will probably piss off the color-blind, but they’re so snooty anyway, who cares?

Blu-Ray went in different directions this week. The only movie on here I would buy, HD or not, is Super Bad. Great flick. Tune in tomorrow to find out who wins the HD battle for this week.
