You might not have noticed, but the PS3 has been a little down lately. This year has been rough on the console and it appears to have given the console some confidence issues. It’s been feeling a little…unloved.
Someone saw the PS3 moping around and decided that it was time to do something about it. They didn’t want everyone to make fun of the Emo kid. In a “turn that frown upside down” gesture an advertising company decided to show the PS3 just how much it’s worth to the world. …

This is all the things the PS3 has to offer us and the world. The boost of confidence comes from letting us know of the fact that all of the features that are wrapped up in this package would cost 1,259 usd individually, but only costs you $612 if you bought it in the UK. I wonder if they used only Sony products for the price tags.

awwwww… that was a cute article… Made the PS3 look like a little puppy you want to just pick up and hold with its tiny little puppy premium of $600 beans… awwwwww…. lol…

Well £614 is actually $1228 or there abouts, therefore its alot more expensive
and it is true, a blu-ray player by itself is £270 here in England

I cannot justify the purchase of a PS3 with so few games that I would really want to play on it.
Currently Fall of Man, Ratchet and Clank, and Motorstorm are the only games that I have interest in. Plus most of they big PS3 games coming in 08 are either timed exclusives or not exclusives at all. I will just keep playing my 360.

I wondered if someone would pick up this story. It’s important to remember that if someone uses _all_ the PS3’s functionality, it _is_ quite a good value and is (not to play into their hands) _considerably_ cheaper than a similarly equipped 360. This has been the case ever since it launched at $599 and is even moreso today.
That said, as opposed to the “emo puppy” image, I prefer the “often-overlooked ‘girl next door’ that one day gets contacts and her braces taken out, wears a tight tank top and jeans and makes you do a double-take at how ’sexy hawt’ she’s become so you’re left wondering why you never really noticed or paid her much attention before but now realize you’ve been overlooking something amazing” image personally.
All you people laughing at the “four-eyed brace face” are gonna be asking for the PS3’s number one day soon. I hope she remembers you and dates your best friend just to spite you.

Anyone else heard the insane rumor that after this holiday season, a new version of the ps3 is hitting the market at a price of 250 usd? I hope it’s true…

PS3 is only expensive because it as the best technology out of the Seventh Generation Conoles. 360 sole ideas like wireless controllers, Live Marketplace and more from the PS3. Sony won’ have many games at first but it takes a while to remake games for PS3 standards because they then have to match the games to the Graphic card that is alot more powerful. PS3 will end up doing good.

I like to compare them like cars 360=corvette, ps3=viper. while the viper is most certainly more powerful, the object to these cars are speed and the v 12 that the viper has is fast, the v 8 that the corvette has goes just as fast with a smarter engine ie. more money does not = better console. And as far as the games go they just dropped the ball because blu ray is not a new technology and you don’t match media to hardware you match hardware to media (much faster to produce media than hardware).
