Ah, Street Fighter 3, the black sheep of the SF family.

It’s not bad, in fact I still play my original Xbox version. The problem was that it tried too hard and had changed too much. It brought in too many odd characters that just didn’t fit, while sacrificing too many favorites like Blanka and E. Honda.

These issues this caused it to vanish faster than a Kayne & Lynch ad on Gamespot.

Read the rest after the jump.

In any event, it’s still a great game, and now PC gamers get their shot to play it.  Cause nothing says fun, like playing a fighting game with a keyboard.

As the resident fighting game nut here at SarcasticGamer.com, I feel it is my duty to inform our PC gamers that Street Fighter 3: Third Strike will be available on Gametap Dec. 20th

Maybe they’re trying to capitalize on the excitement over the upcoming SF HD remix, or the announcement of SF4. Either way, in just three days, PC gamers can wonder again what the heck they did to Guile and Sagat.

Just remember, as with any fighting game on a pc (because there are just so many), if you don’t have a decent gamepad, don’t bother.

Oh and since it’s based on the Dreamcast version, there’s no online mode.

Brilliant.
