Welcome to another exciting week in Hi Def. Last week was a tie, as both sides really even try. Christmas is getting close, so both sides need to step it up. Let’s see if they can bring it this week. Here are your Blu-Ray releases for December 11, 2007.
Harry Potter 1-5 - You can get them as a set, or separately.(Why you would buy an incomplete boxed set?) Either way, you’ll be coughing up some dough.
High School Musical - Even scandalous pictures can’t keep these kids from having a good time. On second thought, hunt down the scandalous pics and pass on this Hi Def release. You’ll thank me later.
RENT - Broadway musical turned movie comes home in HD. Meh. At least the play has nudity.
The Legend of Zorro - The sequel that no one cared about in theatres, or on DVD is coming to Blu-Ray. YES!!
This weeks BR releases are magical, musical, and laughable. Tomorrow, you’ll get HD-DVD’s response and perhaps the winner of this week’s HD Battle.

I can’t imagine the people that keep buying these multi-disc box sets of series that aren’t complete yet… Do they not understand there are seven Harry Potter books that gross like a bazillion dollars each? Of _course_ they’re going to be made into movies.
I can’t imagine buying a 7-movie box set when the movies are roughly $25-$35 each either… that’s some SERIOUS money!

You’d be suprised how many people don’t realize it’s a 7 book series. I’ve even bumped into a few people that didn’t know it was a book. Scary Scary
