Another Day In Paradise?

Xbox 360 and PS3 owners should be excited to know they’re getting a Burnout Paradise demo on December 13th.  Sporting an always-open, everything available from the start free roaming world, Burnout Paradise is what many people are hoping the first truly “next-gen” racer on current-gen lineup (sorry Forza 2, PGR 4, NFS ProStreet, etc.  I guess you were all “wannabe” racers…)

The focus on free-roaming gameplay and a “no menus” interface does have a few Burnout fans uneasy though.  Do you think Critereon will be able to pull it off?  Will you be counting the days until the demo (and then game) are released?  Will you be plugging in your Live Vision Camera and Playstation Eye for some takedown crotch shots?  That’s a yes from me!  On all three counts!

I love the Burnout games but I can tell you right now I probably won’t enjoy this one. The fact that they took out Crash Challenge mode just pisses me off to no end.

Actully, I think it sounds sweet. I was dissapointed with the last 2 Need for speed games because most wanted had an awesome free roaming mode that just added something for me… I hope that Burnout can top it.
