88. HD And Blu-Ray, Who Knew?

The PS3 and the Xbox 360 are next gen consoles. They have high definition graphics and can play HD-DVD and Blu-Ray discs. Many of you may have known this before you went to pick up your console of choice. There are, however, those out there that were not aware of their consoles HD ability, or simply didn’t know how to properly calibrate their HDTV’s to display a Hi Def output.

In fact, there’s a lot of you out there.

There were people that did not know that their PS3 could go HD and play Blu-Ray discs. That’s cool, but it was also a big, and only reason to buy a PS3. The same goes with the 360, sadness all around. It’s very disappointing that the world is this uneducated about what it buys.

No wonder the Wii sells so well…

That’s why people not knowing their consoles were HD is #88 with a “DUH!” on the Sarcastic Gamer Top 100 Gaming Moments of 2007.
