There was a period time not so long ago that Lono was a little crankier than usual. We never thought that could happen, but it did. It was due to a lack of sleep. He would stay up late playing on his 360 and wake up early for work. That is why we sent out an S.O.S. to the Sarcastic Gamer community.

In the Sarcastic Gamer Podcast Episode 13, Doc sent out the call for all listeners who see Lono on Xbox Live after 12am central time to send him a message and tell him to “go to bed.” Proving that our listeners are among the greatest in the world Lono’s inbox was flooded with messages after 12am every night for about a month.
He continues to get go to bed messages, much to his chagrin.
As a result, he started to go to bed earlier and became less crabby. He was however, really pissed about being told what to do.
Lono is a loner, a rebel. Thanks to all of you that helped us out with this.
One more for the record: Go to bed Lono.
The community coming together in the interest of the common good is the reason Lono getting a bedtime is number 81 on the Sarcastic Gamer Top 100 Gaming Moments of 2007.

This definitely should have been in the top fifty…a well-rested Lono is actually a more informative Lono.
I once just sent him a message like that to piss him off it was only like 5 or 4 pm and so I was like “Even though it’s not midnight…GO TO BED!”.

It was funny, but even though it’s game related, it’s not a moment, but a bunch of times, so…
this technically should not be on the list.
Actually, we’re doing one sarcastic moment each day along with the top gaming moments. So..,
Hands down, THEE greatest moment lol… well for me at least…
I meant you (Lono) getting told to go to sleep is not a single moment, but a bunch of them every now and then (I guess) so it’s not one moment, but several, taking place through the rest of the year, I admit it’s really funny and when I heard the proposition of people telling you to go to bed, I was listening it on my iPod on the way to the university in the U’s bus (long story) and i laughed so hard people stared at me.
But you can’t deny, it’s not a moment and it’s not over one specific game, it IS game-related, but so are many things. That’s all I’m saying
