Shortly after the release of the Elite, gamers envious over the system’s 120gb hard disk drive were given the chance to upgrade. At $180, it was (and still is) far from cheap.
Well hey, at least now the HD buffs with money to burn could have their fill of all the crappy overpriced marketplace movies they ever wanted.

I refuse to buy this hard drive at that BOHICA price and along with that, I refuse to buy any of their “hard drive clogging” offerings. I’ll do game DLC, but I’m not buying any movies/shows/etc when my precious 20gb drive (that’s really only 12GB).
Microsoft needs to either drop that price in half or sell a “driveless chassis” that end users can put 2.5″ SATA drives in.
Sony’s kicking their ass in this department, allowing retail drives to work. The PS3 can either upgrade to 120GB for half the price or upgrade to about double the capacity for the same price. Tell me that chassis Microsoft is selling costs them $100 to produce… just tell me that (and I’ll call you an idiot).
