Geoff Keighley, not my cup of tea, but he’s basically the face of gaming journalism. He does a show called Gamehead on Spike TV that is surprisingly likeable and informative. There’s been several exclusive revelations on the show, but probably the most entertaining moment was on the E3 episode where Keighley puts bad movie director Uwe Boll and God of War director, David Jaffe in a face off to the death.

Not really, but it’s pretty good/uncomfortable stuff.

Find out what he did and check out the video, after the jump!

If you don’t want to watch the whole thing, skip to the 3:40 mark.

Geoff Keighley, you maybe the King of Bland, but this was great moment in gaming. For having the brass balls to put both Boll and Jaffe on the spot, Gamehead’s deathmatch between Jaffe and Boll checks in at 74 on Sarcastic Gamer’s Top 100 Gaming Moments of 2007.

I like Geoff Keighley personally… although I’ve always felt “Geoff” was a stupid way to spell “Jeff”, but that’s just me. He’s got a strange head bobble/pecking movement when he talks on camera, but I don’t find him annoying in the least.

I mean all I have to do is turn on G4 and check out my alternative… Adam Sessler? Whoa…

I actually prefer Sessler. He’s way less smug than Geoff. He’s way more self depricating… he get’s the fact that he’s employed to talk about video games, whereas Geoff acts like hes the frickin tom brokaw of gaming news.
