Prior to its release, Kane & Lynch looked like it might actually be something. The premise of the game seemed somewhat original, the multiplayer component was pretty creative SOUNDING, and the marketing dollars that Eidos forked out would have made Shadowrun looks impressive. But on delivery day gamers were left with a rushed, crude title that fell well short of most, if not all expectations.

Find out where it all went wrong, after the jump!
The voice acting was like something we’d have on our podcast. The gameplay mechanics involved a bit of luck to get your guy to do what you want (like take cover) and the story was about as contrived as a Jackie Chan film. For finding completely unprecedented ways to suck royally as a game, and for impressing literally zero people on Planet Earth, Kane & Lynch: Dead Men earned the number 46 position in our countdown.
