Earlier this month, Gamestopgate took the gaming media by storm, and Sarcastic Gamer was quick to capitalize on the moment. Similar to SG, when writers tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth, people actually lose their jobs.
But our scribing-monkeys turned an evil into…traffic. With having two related articles sent to Digg’s front page, we were rolling in approximately seven times our viewership. This allowed us to corrupt people with our tricky rhetoric more than ever. Subliminal messages were installed within the text to make people come back and tell their friends how awesome we are.
It was moderately successful, but unfortunately we ended up making our server catch fire in the process. So, the staff scrambled to get our site hosted on its own dedicated server. Now we can pass out the bandwidth like your mom passes out brownies (and sex).

I ended up checking out SG and it’s podcast not because of your GS coverage, but because after that fiasco, I needed a new podcast since I wasn’t listening to the Hotspot anymore.
Great job guys btw! Nice production values, unique takes on news items, humor, and personality … you guys are real characters! Cheers.
