Let’s begin with Wikipedia, the only real beacon of truth in this world. The facts there are so rock solid… that anyone can edit them. EA decided to use this feature to clean up their reputation…because by erasing the bad things off Wikipedia, they are no longer true.
What did EA do this time? Find out after the jump.
“So what did they edit, you ask? They edited a ton of entries, check it out in the link for yourself. The most glaring edits were the wholesale deletion of paragraphs that were less than favorable toward EA and entries mentioning the founder of EA, Trip Hawkins.”
Lono expresses his undying love for EA here.
Shame on you EA. Shame on you for trying to cover up your mistakes, instead of doing good things to make people forget about them.
EA’s weak attempt to eliminate the blemishes on it’s record deleted it’s way to number 23 on Sarcastic Gamer’s Top 100 Gaming Moments of 2007.
