As much as I loved the Orange Box on the Xbox 360, one of the best parts of it STILL remains unplayable.
I’m talking of course about Team Fortress 2, or as I like to call it, Frustration Fortress 2.
Read why it makes me want to hurt people after the break!
The lag doesn’t just make you a little jumpy, it can bring your character to a complete stop. This crippling issue continues to ruin what is in every other aspect, an extremely fun multiplayer game.
So, you could still play 4 on 4 with no problems, so what?! It’s called TEAM fortress. It’s designed for you to really have 8 on 8 TEAMS who all work together for the fun to really begin.
Come on Valve, the PC version runs 16 on 16 flawlessly, so what happened?! They released one patch on Xbox Live a few months ago, and now another is imminent. After that, the problem will hopefully be fixed completely.
However, for many gamers it’s already too little too late.
TF2 had a window of opportunity to really grab and engage 360 owners, and now they’ve all moved on to other shooters like COD4.
That’s why the Frustration Fort… I mean Team Fortress 2’s Lag issues clocks in at #17 on the Sarcastic Gamer Top 100 Gaming Moments of 2007.

I’ve had little or no problems with the PS3 version of TF2 - anyone else had issues like these?

Why would anybody want to play it on XBOX 360 or PS3? Both obvious faulty ports of a PC game that is far better on the platform it was made for.
Oh and the PC versions work how they should online or offline and look better doing it. Then you get a mouse and keyboard to free you from the sluggish hell that is a console gamepad shooter control layout to go with it.
Do not tell me people pay for an expensive ISP Broadband service to just to get on xbox live or there playstation 3 to use, they have PC\\\’s, and all of the orange box/valves source engine requires nothing to run.
You could run orange box on even the most trash PC that you find in a pre-school pc lab scrap and it will look as good or better than the xbox 360 demo.

“PC version runs 16 on 16 flawlessly”
Exactly why are people buying that when they can get the PC version and it’s cheeper?!
Has the xbox peoples xbox points addiction reached a new level of insane money spending that could only be made lower by buying the Xbox 360 avatar game?
Are the PS3 people just desprate to buy a new game for there PS3?
It’s not even the common public I see doing this either it is major game editors from many publications, who should know enough about games to buy the PC versions, that work, look and play better.
Well enjoy the console shooter hell… You do not seem to know any better you could be having fine sparkle wine and you are all drinking cheep soda pop that priced higher than wine.

Cube:
People get this on the Xbox and PS3 because a lot of people cannot afford the $1000 almost per year to keep a Computing rig up to snuff. $400 for an Xbox, and you’re done! BTW, I’ve always prefered the Computer gaming experience, and still do.
