Ubisoft Gets Lazy, and That’s Just Fine.

Ubisoft has just announced something that will likely causes huge geek-asims across most of the SG team. (Myself included, although possibly not as much).

Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 is coming.

Yes, the sequel to the much-loved-game-around-here with the same name is in production. The really cool thing is that it’s not far off! Ubisoft is currently planning to release it March 2008 to tie in with the 10th anniversary of the Rainbow Six franchise.

Personally I would have liked them to pick another location or setting for a sequel, but I guess they want to stick with the “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” thing. Besides, based on the awesomeness of the first one, that really isn’t bad at all.

In fact, March is actually a good time, as my wallet can’t take much more this year anyway!

Damn it.

Nice, the first was awesome, and the second will be just as good.

I am taking March off. I’ll be waiting with great anticipation. Might have to have someone to watch my kids.

I am completely alright with UBISOFT doing these quick 2nd games. GRAW 2 was freggin perfect. They fixed all the issues I had with the first one, and maybe Vegas 2 will do the same.

I love R6V, It’s definitely one of my Top Ten games , But I’ve already bought 2 map packs for it. Take Rainbow somewhere else this time -don’t rehash. Bring them to ChiTown. Have a battle at the Buckingham Fountain – even better, Trump Tower.
