Great news kids! There’s a rumor about a new Xbox Live Dashboard feature you will absolutely die for!
It’s a handy child torture option codenamed:”Family Timer.” Allegedly, this handy new feature will allow parents to limit how long their kids can play on a Xbox 360.
Finally! Parents will have their gamer loving kids by the gonads. The only problem is that most non-gamer parents won’t have a clue that the feature exists!
So is this evil, or pure genius? You decide.

This is about as useless as the parental lock on the DVD feature on PS2. Kids sure as hell aren’t going to disclose something like this to their parents, conversely their parents couldn’t figure out how to turn the damn thing on, let alone set up some play timer.

Forget about parents using it for their kids. I am going to do it to keep Doc limited to one hour of gaming a night. I have been waiting for something like this!!

I guess no one needs to tell Lono to go to bed anymore. Though to be fair, if someone used some crapy widget like this on me, i’d probably need a new window as my 360 would shortly be going through it, and whoever was responsible a new set of balls.
