This HD-DVD week decided to go heavy on the comedies. Fine with me, I love comedies. These are your HD-DVD releases for November 27th, 2007.

• Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgandy - Will Ferrell, Steve Carrell, Paul Rudd, David Koechner, The Octagon, James Westfall, and Dr. Kenneth Noisewater with cameos by Tim Robbins, Luke Wilson, Ben Stiller, Jack Black, and Vince Vaughn. What more do you need in a comedy classic? How about a guy getting killed with a trident?
• Hot Rod - Nothing like raising money to make some one healthy so you can fight them…in HD.
• Mr. Bean’s Holiday - Everyone’s favorite creepy, quiet Brit is back! I wonder how they explained needing to shoot this one in HD.
• Old School -Hilarity ensues as 3 grown men form a fraternity. I feel no need to go explain any further. If you have not seen this yet, you have to write a descriptive essay about the bottom of the rock you live under, in HD. To me this is a must own, not sure if it needs to be HD though.
• The Omega Man - If you are lactose intolerant, I would stay away from this one.

HD-DVD’s comedy block is a winner in the release battle for this week. Tune in next week as the saga continues.
