Strogg Oppressor vs. GDF Soldier

November 13th, 2007 · No Comments

It’s day two of our Enemy Territory: Quake_Wars contest, where we’ll tell you a little bit about two of the player classes in this fantastic PC game, and you vote for your favorite. By voting, you’re automatically registered to win a free copy of the game from id Software. For the complete information on the contest, click here.

Oppressor vs. Soldier

Today we’re pitting the Strogg Oppressor versus the GDF Soldier. Learn a little bit about the candidates, after the jump.

Strogg Oppressor

This powerful fire support expert can call in artillery deployables like the stylish Rail Howitzer, Plasma Mortar, and Orbital Laser, and can direct their fire against enemy targets. He also enjoys using his rapid-fire Lacerator. Sundays, he volunteers at the local children’s hospital reading books to young sick Strogglets.

GDF Soldier

Soldier
This is the GDF’s main assault class. The Soldier gets all the spiffy heavy weapons, like the N93 General Purpose Machine Gun (GPMG) and N72 LAW Rocket Launcher. He also sports Frag Grenades and the High Explosive Charge. He also makes a mean lasagna.

So now that you know a little more about the candidates, it’s time to vote and enter to win a free copy of Enemy Terrotory: Quake Wars for the PC. Log in to our forums to get started! New around here? You can register for our forums in a matter of moments.

Here’s a link to the Poll. By voting for your favorite of these two classes you are automatically entered to win one of two copies of Enemy Territory: Quake Wars courtesy of id Software.

Congratulations to yesterday’s winners, Kanbei and Networker.
