PS3 owners were let down once again upon finding out that Konami has delayed Metal Gear Solid 4…for the second time. This is one of the [only?] exclusives for the PS3 that the console has that make others drool.
It was originally supposed to be out this Christmas, but was then pushed back to early 2008. Fine, a temporary set back. Now it has been pushed back to the second quarter of 2008.
There has never been a better time for a major release like this. The Ps3 is the cheapest it has ever been, and MSG fans are chomping at the bits to get their hands on this title.
The reason given for the delay was to provide ”greater enjoyment to players world wide.” WTF does that mean? Was there an aspect of the game that just wasn’t fun enough and it needed some work? Are they going multi-platform?
Stop crushing the hopes and dreams of the MSG faithful, Konami. We’re sensitive dammit!

Latest word is Q1 ‘08 is still valid for Japan, so I guess the “simultenous worldwide release” comment was bunk.
And for the record, there are PLENTY of other PS3 exclusives to be excited for: Gran Turismo 5 (Prologue and the “real deal”), LittleBigPlanet, Final Fantasy III, Uncharted, Ratchet & Clank Future, Killzone 2, and more…

Yea it probably just had a glitch in the other language versions if it is still on for Q1 in japan. As for the programing I doubt it you would have to put alot more work in than that if the forgot a whole SCE.

Solution: scrap the PS3 version and make a 360 or Wii version. Its harder to develop games for PS3 because of the processer. So a 360 or Wii version would be easier.
