Sarcastic Gamer: Action through Inaction

October 16th, 2007 · No Comments

Gamers, you may not have realized this, but yesterday was Blog Action Day. Don’t worry, we didn’t know either. On October 15th, bloggers everywhere blogged on their bloggity blogs in the Blogosphere about environmental issues and climate change. Here’s what we did instead:

  1. Played Portal. Portals are an excellent medium of clean transportation.
  2. sleep.jpg

  3. Made toast without an EnergyStar certified toaster, but still enjoyed it.
  4. Took extra long naps to save on energy bills from lighting.
  5. Went to work and surfed the web all day, in protest of the big polluting corporations and biased media channels we are employed by.
  6. Played DDR in order to produce our own body heat for warmth, then stopped, because reducing fossil fuel consumption was just not worth looking THAT stupid.
  7. Avoided the sun to see if it stops bothering us when we don’t pay attention to it.
  8. Googled our names.
  9. Played with Legos.

What didn’t you do you on your Blog Action Day?
