bs.jpgAttention Nerds! Battlestar Galactica will be coming to the XBLA on Wednesday! Time to immerse yourself into the struggle to find Earth and pretend to be your favorite character. I imagine Star Buck will be the most popular one.

A paltry sum of 800 points allows you to hop into your favorite Galatica space ship and blast your way through other Nerds online or in the single player campaign.

Break out your wallets fanboys and show your love. Star Buck, Admiral Adama or whomever you have a crush on is counting on you!

I, for one, will not be coughing up 800 points. I’ll be saving up for the hordes of store bought games that coming up in the next 6 months. I predict that Lono’s Battlestar loving self will pick this one up right away.

Good luck!

NERDS!

Dave, you know that Starbuck is a chick in the new version, right?

I think Microsoft has the goal of approving XBLA games that are specifically of no interest to me. It seems their streak is BEYOND merely coincidence. Exit’s a fun diversion for like 10 minutes… if you want to pay a buck a minute for fun, well, go to a nudie bar or something… this game can be had for the same price at any Best Buy on the PSP (where the simplified graphics will look more at home than on your HDTV).

      *sigh*

      Thanks for nothing (again) XBLA.

Battlestar = nerds? Hate to break it you. We’re grown men playing online video games. We’re all nerds, even if you’re a frat boy playing Madden. It’s like when Fantasy Baseball guys pretend what they do is cool because it’s related to sports. But it’s just D&D starring guys with funny handlebar mustaches.
