It is with a heavy heart that I announce today, that Sarcastic Gamer will cease operations as of January 1st, 2028. This was a very difficult decision for me, as by that time I will have spent more than 20 years with this blog through good times and bad.

This decision wasn’t mine alone. The entire team took a good long look at all aspects of the operation and decided that, it will just be a good time to say goodbye. We will have survived feast and famine. Breakup and reunion. Lono’s embarrassing drunk keynote address at E3-2010, and Rothbart’s Rants #1 thru #41298. We’ll see Matt finally finish college in 2015, and who will be able to forget when Dave lands a job in the year 2024.

Finally, I just wanted to say to everyone that I am very appreciative of your support now, and for the next 20 years that we have left. Let’s not be sad, but happy to have known one another.

Before I forget, I’d also like to let you know that our HALO 9 parody song will be out somewhere around September 25th, 2026, so don’t miss it.
