Extreme Makeover Home Edition

Tokyo - September 20, 2007 - Sony announced Playstation Home has been delayed until Spring 2008. When Sony CEO Kaz Hirai was asked why Home was being delayed, Hirai said they needed to refocus their efforts and called in a specialist to assist them in making Home everything it can be. Sarcastic Gamer News was able to track down the identity of this specialist and it’s none other than the host of ABC’s Extreme Home Makeover, Ty Pennington.

When we caught up to Pennington, he was more than willing to talk to us about the process. Pennington told us,

The first thing we’re going to do is go in and rip out all the old code. We’re pretty much just going to be left with bare servers at that point. Then we’re going to call in a giant team of volunteers from the good folks at Linden Labs and we’re going to make this Home look better than ever. I’m taking on the massage parlor myself; it’ll be something special indeed.

Pennington said they would probably be able to complete this project in the normal seven days time but it would probably still take until Spring to fully train the crews at Sony how to effectively make the most out of home. This training will include in-depth workshops such as: Virtual Prostitution? Not In My Neighborhood and Spotting Guys Posing As Chicks.

Analyst Michael Pachter was quoted as saying “I love it when they say ‘move that bus!’”
