This article is strictly for those that enjoy rocking out and doing the truffle shuffle. In cross-platform games like GTAIV, Microsoft usually brings a little something extra to the table. This is not the case with the much-anticipated Rock Band release. It is rumored, but not confirmed yet, that the bundle for the 360 will come with a wired guitar while the PS3 will be wireless while being the same price. If you look on amazon.com this is the case, but before the release date everything is subject to change.

Another selling point for Sony’s Rock Band is that on its own the wireless guitar is $20 less than its 360 counterpart. One could counter and say that the PS3 is more expensive, but let’s not get into that argument.

I have to ask, when you and three or four other friends are jamming out to Metallica’s Enter The Sandman, does it really matter if you guitar has a wire or not?
