EA announced at a press conference this morning that FIFA ’08 is coming to the PS3 with stunning 60 fps game play. This may not be the football that most PS3 owners were looking for, but at least it’s a step in the right direction. Too bad it was just one game too late. Can you imagine the pair that the EA developers must have (they must drag on the ground)? Not long after the Madden fiasco they announce that a less popular game (here in the US anyway) will run better on the PS3. Does it make sense to short change what is in my opinion the flagship game for EA?

Sorry PS3 owners, you guys got screwed. There is good news on the horizon though. At least now they have now proven that they can do it when they put their minds to it. Just not for Madden.

Wish EA had let Madden ‘08 sit in the oven longer? Head over to our FORUMS and let us know! Please note that it may take up to 15 minutes for a new article to arrive on the forums
