As I sit outside and type away on my laptop, I ask myself, why on earth am I outside? The heat and humidity is crashing down upon us here in the states. Checking my favorite weather websites, it supposedly feels like 98°. It lies. It feels like the rapture.

We gamers have the advantage over Mother Nature. Our source of entertainment lies in the cool, air-conditioned sanctuary of our homes. If you don’t have air conditioning, just hold your Wii close to your body. One advantage to not having enough power to be next gen: less heat production.

It’s satisfying that I can play football, battle insurgents, and slaughter orcs without sweating a drop. If only the walk from my car to class could be executed in a similar fashion.
