St. Catharines, Ontario - August 31 - Dennis Dyak of Silicon Knights has just announced another delay in the release of their upcoming Xbox 360 game Too Human.

Dyack has placed blame for this latest delay on the traffic light timing algorithm used by the traffic signals in the town of St. Catharines, Ontario where their development studio is located. When contacted about this new claim, Dyak responded “I’ve done some analysis over the past two years and I’m convinced the algorithm that controls traffic lights in the neighborhood around our development studio are responsible for millions of dollars in man-hour delays completing Too Human.”

Dyak then went on to suggest the distinct possibility that aliens (or the CIA) had entered the development labs at night approximately 16 times over the course of development and made several unlogged changes to his code. Ironically these changes seemed to have resolved appropriate roadblocks in the development cycle but Dyak and his team spent so much time investigating these mysterious code fixes that they fell even further behind in development.

Sources close to Silicon Knights say the team has already started scouting for an alternate studio location to reduce further delays likely from traffic lights, alien invaders, and/or the CIA.
