Congress will officially name 9/25/07 “Pay Day” in honor of Bungie’s eagerly awaited Halo 3 release date. The folks on Capitol Hill recognize that Bungie will take home an estimated $155,000,000.00 when Halo 3 launches on 9/25/07 and want in on the very public event.

Barack Obama weighed in on the Halo 3 release date, “I love Halo. I play it all the time. I can’t wait to take it home on Pay Day and fire up my playstation for an all night gaming session.”

Not to be outdone, Hillary Clinton’s staff released this statement: “I hope to find Obama online so I can kick his noob a$$.”

On behalf of Republicans, Mitt Romney told Sarcasticgamer, “On Pay Day, I’ll have all of my wives over for a huge lan party to commemorate the event!”

President Bush invoked his Executive Privilege and refused comment.
