It’s time for a cool new “buzzword” acronym. We’ve got LMAO, IMHO, and FWIW but those are old and busted. Lately, specifically during E3, I found myself saying the same thing over and over.
Somebody needs to muzzle that jackass…
Hey, that’s catchy. Somebody Needs to Muzzle that Jackass… also known as SNMJ. The phrase can catch on as it’s usable in a lot of different situations.
Specifically, I kept using it in reference to Sony Computer Entertainment Europe’s CEO David Reeves. He single handedly nut-punched Sony’s E3 buzz with his brilliant (the Europeans love to use the word “brilliant” so I’m trying to keep their attention) timing of publicizing the news that the 60GB PS3 is basically being discontinued and replaced with an 80GB model (as opposed to being an additional model). Not satisfied with that, when asked if Europe would be getting the same hard drive capacity bump, he thought it would be wise to say it’s not really worth moving from 60GB to 80GB in his opinion.
Somewhere, somebody from Sony is signing his paycheck. SNMJ.
