Dallas is about to get a little visit from yours truly along with a couple of Sarcasticgamer favorites including Doc and Dave, when we invade QuakeCon from August 2 through the 5th.QuakeCon, for those of you that don’t know, is sponsored by Id Software and is held every summer in Dallas, Texas. QuakeCon, has been called the “Woodstock of gaming,” and their unofficial motto is, “4 Days of Peace, Love, and Rockets.” Catchy huh? They also provide servers for tournaments for games including Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Enemy Territory, Counter-Strike, Call of Duty, and every freakin Quake and Doom game ever made!

This year, Id will have a brand new tournament: the 6 v. 6 Quake Wars championship and a 1 v. 1 Quad Damage tourney showcasing all four Quake games. No, God is not attending, despite what you may have heard on this site!
