Source: Total PlaystationA-ha! Now our friends down south have a real reason besides undrinkable water, a corrupt government, and rampant unemployment to sneak into the US: $910 dollar PS3s!

Yes, for just 9,999 Mexican Pesos, Jose can enjoy what the six Americans who bought a PS3 have been playing furiously for the past 8 months. It may be a little pricey, but it does come with a “free” copy of Formula One Championship Edition.

Somebody at Sony had one-too-many margaritas one day, and decided that gouging the hell out of Mexicans was the right way to go about business. Since 40% of Mexicans live below the poverty line, that leaves 60% for potential PS3 buyers, right? The GDP per capita is about $10,000. Who wouldn’t want to spent 9% of their total income on a Blu-Ray player? Damn I’m good at math.

Next up: Sony to start bundling FIFA into $100 piñatas.
