Microsoft Regrets Passing On Heavenly Sword, Vows Changes

Redmond, WA - July 27, 2007 - SarcasticGamer.com has just received an anonymous tip that after last night’s Playstation Network release of the Heavenly Sword demo, corporate vice president of Microsoft Game Studios’ Shane Kim, the person directly responsible for passing on the game when it was pitched to Microsoft in 2005, admitted that they may have made a terrible mistake. The anonymous source reports that Kim was furious with what he saw on their in-house Playstation 3 (yes, they have them… don’t ask). Kim reportedly said “We’ve worked so hard to pioneer the movement of ensuring we give demos to customers before our games are released. How could we have not thought of this ourselves?!” Kim then proceeded to load the PS3 game demo for the meeting attendees. ” Watch this…” Kim said as he selected the Heavenly Sword Demo from the XMB.
