The prices at my local EB have already begun to drop on used Crackdown. They went from 2 used copies to 11 in a week! A cool 5 bucks cheaper already, and the Halo 3 Beta body isn’t even cold yet.

For those of you living under a rock, Crackdown came bundled with access to the Halo 3 Beta, giving gamers a sneak peek at the highly anticipated third chapter of the Halo series. Now that the beta’s over, it looks like a big reward could await those that waited for this inevitable phenomenon.

From now on, I am going to hold off on buying any games leveraged with a limited-time beta until the beta is over. Hey! Every dollar counts!
