I'm 15 from a town called Northampton in England. I know I don't post as much as I should but this idea's got me very interested. I keep up with all gaming news and own a copy of most the large game releases. I currently own all this gen consoles bar a Wii and PS3 however I'm saving for the latter. I know about all areas of technology, TV and cinema. I'm free nearly all the time and have some simple recording and editing equipment. The community podcasting idea was interesting, but I know I can't do it on my own. Would love to partner up with someone already thinking of putting one in the works. I'll privately apply to some of the ones already listed here, but I'm 29, male, have what friends have called a "long fuse", i.e. I'm a "nice guy" gamer, a rarity considering I play FPS's and PvP MMOs, the sort that would enrage even the most calm of folks. I'm an avid gamer but I wouldn't call myself "hardcore". Grew up with the NES and Master System and have followed consoles and PC gaming to its state today.

I'm not an idealist. I've dealt with years of the "quirks" of geekery, whether that was chairing an anime convention with 5,000 - 10,000 insane "otaku", or moderating multiple forums - conventions, anime sites, and most recently MMO gaming.

The experience has whittled me down into a cynical, jaded, nub of a person with what people have called a wry sense of humor. I don't make babies cry, but don't expect me not to say your baby needs to stop throwing the drool-covered toys at people, either. I've thus twisted the "nice" persona into a caricature of a character with which I create minimally funny humor - you can see that in my very young blog.

Maybe it's a Chicago thing. Who knows. C'mon - it'll be charming for at least the first 5 minutes, right?

I like the news-based podcast that's quick and simple. It's like CNN Headline News. You get somewhere around 12 people (2 "anchors", 10 "reporters") to give a 10-12 min newscast to run down everything. Upcoming launches, new offers, pre-orders, annoucements, and maybe a review or 2. It can be done at any pace too, and you don't need people to all be together to do it. Do a job, send it into the editors (who are probably also the anchors) and they'll get it to Dave. It's a genius way to include a lot of members in one hopefully successful podcast. Tobitron gets brownie points, and a tentative podcast member, me!

I have a very twisted sense of humor but i can control myself, don't worry. I have some experience with podcasting. I have tried to start up a couple of shows in the past but never got enough exposure. I can edit audio fairly well but I am in college so I couldn't edit all the time, but if need be I could do a few episodes if the normal editor cant a certain week.

I am moving into college over the next few days so my schedule in the near future is very hectic, but that only means I wouldn't be able to record over the next 5 or 6 days or so. But I can always find time to talk to other members of a show and help organize everything.

30 year old "experienced" gamer seeks podcast team for fun, friendship and possibly more. Capable with everything from the ZX Spectrum to the PS3, but I'm primarily a PC gamer these days. I work in the software industry myself, primarily in support and testing though I do have a background in development. My only experience in games development is testing some indie games, and a selection of interviews with Rockstar where I was essentially out-fanboyed.

I'd be up for doing a podcast. Just to warn you, I don't have any experience really, and the only mic I have is my USB RB one, but it has a decent sound quality. I'm mainly a PS3 gamer, but I versed in matters 360 as well. Also, I absolutely hate the Wii, and bash it whenever I get the chance, just to warn you. I'm a 25 year old married guy from Oregon. I didn't have an accent until I came into the military, which has given me hints of a southern accent (don't ask me how cause I don't know).

I'm just coming back from 3 years in Germany so I understand some of the stuff like exchange rates and some other European lifestyle stuff (though obviously not as much as they do). I've got a PS3, PSP and 360 (and had a Wii but sold it cause I didn't really like it). I play a lot of games, and prefer my 360 because of the online gaming. I watch a ton of movies and some TV shows like Family Guy, ATHF, and the office. I'm all for doing a podcast with a lot of humor and joking (I'd prefer biting humor and sarcasm). Also, I have a bit of experience with audacity.

Unfortunately I am in the middle of moving and will be losing internet tomorrow. Hey, I'm kinda thinking about becoming a co-host for someone's show. I would kinda like it to be with other Europeans because of the time difference. I only own a PS3, but I'm not ignorant on topics related to the other consoles. I don't think with the "Microsoft/Nintendo should fail" concept. Instead, I look at a title or feature as if it were on the PS3 instead of the 360/Wii.

I'm looking to join a cast if anyone needs it. I have experience doing my own (The Epic Default Podcast [/namedrop]) but we don't record as much as I'd like. I'm really only looking for a co-host position, because I'm not interested in editing two podcasts.

I'm interested in all aspects of gaming and tech news, and can typically find funny things within other wise mundane topics (at least I like to think I can :p). I also like to think that I'm quick on my feet and quick witted as well. If any of this interests you please contact me.

I don't mind helping some people if they need an available person. My hours are tight however. On Wednesday to Sunday, I am available from 10:00am EST to 3:00am EST. I've done some public speaking before. I was a consultant & speaker for Holistic Hardware for a year. Holistic Hardware was a outreach & church rebuilding program. I'm very well spoken but I do have a strong NY accent. So some of my words come off not sounding correct but it's rare =).

I currently own all 5 gaming hardware on the market. The Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, DS & PSP. I also have a self built gaming PC. I have all my areas covered but my strengths in term of overall knowledge is different for all. They are as follow

Wii - Very Low
Xbox 360 - Very High
PS3 - Average
DS - High
PSP - High
PC - Through the roof =P

The PC market in both hardware & software is my expertise. The Xbox 360 is my most knowledgeable console. Everything else fall behind those 2. The Wii is my lowest since I don't bother to keep up with the news for it. I own the console but it sucks in my opinion =). So Wii aimed podcast shouldn't bother with me. Hey all im 14 15 in 3 days actually. Anyways. Im from denmark and i have intrested in trying to record a podcast with some other European gamers maybe. let me be honest:) My voice is not very deep and tends to go up sometiems (Damn puberty). But My Knowledge to movies are pretty good and as far as games go i ahve a good general knowledge i would like to think. I'm thinking of starting up a new community cast, as I've got a better schedule to record. Shoot me a PM if you're interested and I'll explain in more details.

I'm 25, have experience in podcasting (I actually run my own) but I love it, so I want to do more. I don't want to be the editor, because the way I edit takes a LOOOOONNNNGGGG time, and I'm pretty much dedicated to my cast when it comes to editing. I can give tips, tricks, and advice if needed however.

At some point in my life, I've played every console ever made, even the handhelds. Currently I won a wii, a DS, and a 360, and I follow the news on everything gaming (with a nose for finding the really strange stories, i.e. Gordon Freeman is actually working at the LHC and now has a crowbar to protect us all from the coming resonance cascade).

I'm quick witted and very opinionated, two qualities that go great in a cast (look at the Red show), and have a pretty open schedule at night. (i'm either editing or playing video games at that time, so I can easily record for 20 or 30 minutes.)

I also enjoy long walks on the beach, hot chocolate, and horse riding. And I'm a Scorpio.

we are using skype as our cal to cal thing but we are all using audiacity as our recording (every one records singlehandedly and send the file to me so i can edit)
i have a ps3 and a psp and a ds. no pain has a ps3 360 and a wii.

I am 14 and have a ps3, wii and ds. I definitely use the PS3 more. I have also played the 360 on many occasion. I would be glad to join any podcast that needs someone.

Hiya guys, new to the SG community scene, but friends with one of the writers, so I thought I would start joining in on the fun (read: madness).

Anyways, one of the main reasons I joined was my interest in this SGC podcast thing. I have really wanted to get back into podcasting, but due to lack of support from my lazy amigos, sadly it hasn't been possible.
