I'm a Wii fanboy, just to clear that up. The only thing that I'm really disapointed with Nintendo for is the lack of really good Online play. They've seriously got to get some good online games with a good system like Xbox live.

What do you think Nintendo should improve in Wii v2.0?

They need their own kind of DNS so instead of a random annoying number, you can have maybe... a name.

DEFINITELY some kind of a screenname...that could go with the improved online play. I say that the Wiimote should also have some kind of an SD slot so you can take your pictures, music, etc and make it your personal gaming control...kinda like the Xbox, come to think of it...:D

Profile-based gaming, if you will. Imagine games where you have a short little theme that plays when you completely OWN.

what surprises me is they didn't fix the friend code problem when the Wii came out, especially after the DS. Oh well there is still hope. NINTENDO PLEASE FIX YOUR ONLINE PLAY.

Nintendo really needs their online fixed. They also have to release more online games.

The sad thing about young kids these days is they only want blood and gore :( if it doesnt have both of them, then that game is screwed.

Anyway, friends codes should be banished to another world. They are the most ridiculous thingI have ever heard, seen, and had to put up with. Has for the rest of the online experience. I dont have anything to complain about. This is Nintendos first time in the online experience with a console. I you can remember the PS2 and Xbox both took about 1-2 years to actually develop good online, well Xbox anyway. PS2 still sorta sucked with limited amount of games going online. Just give the Wii some time. I think we will be plesently surpirised come next year at this time.

if the wii can start making games, even games like wii sports, with good online capabilites, then it will become a much better console. i know everyone else hates it, but i personally love MP8, and being able to play one of those online would be SUWEET!

I didnt like 8 as much as the earlier ones, but it was still good, and would have been great to play online.

Good online WITH a headset. I don't want to play online with my friends without being able to talk to them. That would be the same as playing the computer which is lame. If they bring those two things to the table then my faith will be restored in Nintendo. Unfortunately I don't see either one happening anytime soon since they're trying to "protect the kiddies" so I will continue hating on them until they realize that not just 10 year olds are playing the Wii.

I wish they did have head sets, then again, I really don't want to hear a bunch of little whinny 12 year olds complaining that I was being cheap with whatever character I was using in SSBB

Depends on your definition of "later", Mikey. I don't know if Battalion Wars 2 has come out yet, but that NEEDS the headset. Brawl is coming out in several months, and it needs one too. This "later" is coming up pretty fast, and Brawl still has time to add it in...

BW2, needs it, I forgot all about that game, but I dont really think brawl needs it. Thats just my opinion though.

If you're like me then you have friends who live in different states. For me, EVERY online game NEEDS a headset. There's no point in playing online with my friends unless I can talk to them while playing. If Nintendo doesn't release a headset before or with brawl then I'm gonna be a really pissed off customer. Their blatant disregard of older gamers is just stupid.

You know maybe they delayed brawl because they are going to add a headset. who knows?

We can only hope they change their ways...
