So i played the Medal of Honor: Airborne Demo today, and after downloading it i have to say it is a nice concept. The whole landing where ever you want to on top of a sniper and u can be all like whats up bitch and melee him in the face. Sometimes you can land in a death zone by getting caught in cross fire on ground. They light up the areas where you should land that considered safe. Or you can be a superhero or whatever your damn heart desires( although you use a gun, like a bitch). Overall the graphics are great, game play is different which i like for an fps no ruled out layout, and the ai was smart so thats a plus. Only problem i had, i didn't like the controls they were not changeable and i didn't really dig they way they were laid out. They'll be changeable s no biggie. Other than that can't wait to play this game in full perspective.

Yer i completely agree with everything youve just said there mate, i got MOHA when it came out, its honestly brilliant well worth the money,every mission is extremely indepth about what you have to do and the scenery when your jumping out the plane is breath-taking. except the online isnt all that great because its running of the EA dedicated ranked servers, no local hosting.
graphics = great.
gameplay = great.
controlls = average. (You get uset to them after a while)
online = average. (If you can get into a match where the servers arent playing up, its great fun.
(That was so had to put without putting any spoilers into the post :D)

The only thing good about the demo is that you can lean to the left or right which is pretty cool... otherwise, eh..

I wasnt to impressed. The landing where you want was new, but not enough to get me to buy it.Also Im sick of the WWII genre.

Yeah so I felt like the landing was kind of gimicky... I had the impression that the game was going to be purely like land somewhere random (don't control it) then approach a situation from any angle. But then I found out it's like still full of scripted action sequences and spawns and stuff like that. I guess what I mean is that I thought it was kind of tacky that I was able to take the big central tower first, but then I had to run around down like two streets then back again to take out the minor, less defended guns around the town.
The open-endedness is also NOT fun -- in any game really -- when you're going through city streets and houses and stuff. I mean, is it really fun to be lost and have to look at a map and have your wife/gf yell at you for being an idiot in Manhattan or Disney or wherever? No! The kinds of games that should be open ended should do it like Operation Flashpoint if you've ever played that, only the ENTIRE ISLAND should be populated. There shouldn't be areas of the map that are empty throughout the battle but are suddenly full of badguys once you accomplish an objective. I guess what I'm saying is that the entire mission needs to be open and dynamic, not just particular stages or objectives of the mission. The mission should progress a certain way whether or not you achieve all of your initial objectives. Nothing is more annoying to me than stuff like in Stranglehold when you rip through an area but suddenly you reach a bridge and a message pops up and it's like "this bridge won't lower until you blow up 2 more drug labs that are all the way at the beginning of the level." I don't want to be nagged in a game, if I wanted that I'd call my girlfriend! (I hope she doesn't read this)

yeah the only thing cool was the jumping and landing. I doubt I'd be getting it.

Has anyone seen the minimum specs for the PC version?
At least a GeForce 7300? For this piece of average WWII crap??

I might rent this one, the demo was pretty fun. The battles are quite dynamic depending on where you land. I once landed on the main roof and cleared half of it, only to find that my allies had landed on the other half and taken care of it, and were moving downstairs to clear the whole building. I must say it was a pretty cool moment.
Another reason I love rentiing (cheap price, 2 weeks of the full game, enough for any SP game and some MP games).
